How do I sign up for a class?
When you’re paid and done, you will be redirected to a confirmation page and you will be sent a confirmation email. Both the confirmation page and email will have a unique access link to the class in Zoom, the video platform we use for our classes. DO NOT DISCARD YOUR EMAIL.
How do I take a class?
Five-ten minutes before class, roll out your yoga mat and click the access class link in the confirmation email you received. This will open Zoom. Make sure you select “Join with computer audio” and “Start with video”. Don’t forget this is a two-way class so the teacher needs to see you. Set up your laptop or mobile phone so the camera can see most if not all of you. That way Josh can see you and offer individualised support.
Once in Zoom you will be held in a virtual waiting room until Josh has admitted you. Josh will aim to start the classes on time. Once allowed in to class and before the start you will be able to speak to Josh and other members of the class just like you would when entering a studio. Once class starts Josh will mute your microphones. You will be unmuted at the end of class.

If you arrive late Josh may not always be able to admit you especially if he is mid teaching. This is why it is important to arrive to class early. As well, just as in a yoga studio, arriving late can be disruptive to the teacher and other students. However, things happen so if you are late Josh will do his best admit you into class.
Can other participants see me?
Yes, they can. Zoom is a two-way online class that replicates the group feeling of a traditional studio class. That being said class numbers will depend how large your screen is when divided by the other students on the display. If you really do not want to be seen, you can choose to attend a class with your camera off. If you want to receive tips and personal guidance from the teacher, we recommend you turn your camera on.

It’s unlikely, but if you get disconnected, just click the access link and try again.
Do I have to have my video on?
One of the fantastic things about Zoom is that it allows for a two-way interaction between the yoga teacher and class members and also between the members before and after class. It therefore creates an atmosphere closer to that of a real yoga studio. However, we totally understand that not everyone wants to be on camera, so if you are feeling a little shy that day or want to practice in your PJs, just keep your camera switched off.

Once everyone have greeted one another and Josh has introduced the class he will mute the attendees for the duration of the physical practice and then unmute everyone after savasana. Therefore, if you wish to practice to music, please switch it on during this time.
